Hardwood Wall-Mounted Coat Rack with Shelf
A hardwood hallway coat rack with a solid oak shelf above — painted to any Farrow & Ball colour.
This is a recent commission shown as a starting point. Final price depends on your dimensions, wood choice, and specification. A fixed quote is provided before any work begins.
No obligation. We'll come back to you personally within one working day with honest advice and an indication of cost.
Width is fully adjustable from 800mm to beyond 2,000mm. We can add more hooks, adjust hook spacing, increase shelf depth, or add pegs below for children's bags.
What makes
this piece
what it is.
This commission was designed around a specific brief. Yours will be designed around yours. These are the details that define the piece — all of which can be adapted, refined, or completely rethought for your version.
Solid hardwood shelf
The shelf is solid oak or ash, finished in Rubio Monocoat oil. Strong enough for bags, helmets, and the everyday weight of a busy hallway.
Painted frame in any colour
The frame is spray-painted in your chosen Farrow & Ball shade — we colour-match from the paint code. Any colour in the range, including new additions.
Heavy-duty hooks
Solid metal hooks — not decorative. Rated to take coats, bags, and the general daily weight of a family hallway.
Wall-mounted and ready to hang
This wall-mounted accessory requires suitable fixings for your wall. We provide guidance; installation is not included.

This piece is a starting point, not a catalogue item. Here's what we can adapt for your commission.
What will
your version
cost?
The price shown is for the piece as made. Your commission may be more or less depending on specification. We always provide a fixed written quote before any work starts — no surprises.
For the piece as shown. Custom dimensions and specification quoted individually.
What affects the final price
- Timber species — walnut costs more than oak or ash
- Overall size — more material means higher cost
- Complexity — more drawers, doors, and internal fittings add time
- Finish — hand-applied oil takes longer than a sprayed lacquer
- Hardware — quality fittings are specified and priced per piece
