These pieces show previous commissions and possible starting points. We agree the specification, price and lead time for your own piece before making it. The coat rack is a past commission; a separate accessories range is planned for a later release.

Areas we serve

We make furniture in Rugeley for homes in Rugeley, Cannock, Lichfield and across Staffordshire. Delivery arrangements and lead time are confirmed with your quote.

In our own words

"Most furniture is designed to sell at scale. Sizes are standardised, materials are chosen for margin, and the result usually fits adequately rather than properly.

Bespoke is different. We start with your room, your brief and how you actually live, then shape the design around that. We'll ask the questions a furniture shop cannot — from how you use the space to whether you prefer the character of solid oak furniture or the depth of walnut furniture.

Then we build it by hand in our Staffordshire workshop. No veneer-faced cores and no corners cut to hit a price point. The result is custom furniture that feels like it belongs in your home because it was made for it."

Honest pricing

What does
bespoke
cost?

Bespoke handmade furniture takes time, skill and carefully chosen material, but clear pricing matters just as much as good making. Whether you are commissioning bespoke dining tables, custom storage furniture or a one-off statement piece, we will always guide you honestly.

What affects the price

  • Species and grade of timber — walnut costs more than oak, which costs more than ash
  • Complexity of joinery — drawers, doors, and other details all add time
  • Surface area — a large dining table uses significantly more material than a side table
  • Finish — a proffessional spray painted finish costs more than an oil finish
From £600 Coffee tables and smaller bespoke pieces, designed to suit your space and timber choice.
From £1,500 Dining tables in solid oak, walnut or ash, built to your dimensions and finish preferences.
£2,000–£6,000+ Most bespoke projects, including sideboards, freestanding furniture, custom storage furniture and larger room-led commissions.

All prices are indicative and depend on specification. Lead time: Confirmed with your quote. We'll always provide a clear quote before any work begins.

When will
it be
ready?

Lead time is confirmed when we quote, based on your project and our workshop schedule. We keep a planned schedule and would rather give you an honest timeline than a hopeful one. If you would like to know how a piece is made, you can read about our workshop, see our finishes and read about delivery.

Things people
usually
ask.

Not at all. Most people come to us with a rough idea — "I need something for this alcove" or "I want a dining table that seats eight but doesn't dominate the room." That's more than enough to start. We'll ask the right questions and help you refine it.
Yes. If you have inspiration images, sketches, or even architectural drawings, please share them. We'll let you know whether the design is practical to build in solid wood and suggest any adjustments that would improve the result.
A 50% deposit confirms your order and secures your place in the build schedule. The remaining 50% is due before production starts. We confirm the payment schedule with your proposal.
No. Our workshop is part of our own home, so we keep this private for our family. We're based in Rugeley, Staffordshire — If you're local and want to see timber samples or discuss a brief in person, get in touch and we'll organise a way to do this with you.
Minor changes are usually possible in the early stages at no extra cost. Significant changes once materials have been cut may affect price and the quoted lead time: Confirmed with your quote — we'll always be upfront with you before proceeding.
Yes, and we enjoy it. We're comfortable working from detailed specs and CAD drawings, and happy to liaise directly with clients on a designer's behalf. We work with homeowners and designers across Staffordshire, including Rugeley, Cannock and Lichfield, with wider UK delivery available. Get in touch to discuss trade terms.
