Bespoke furniture
for homes in
Staffordshire.
Bespoke solid hardwood furniture made in Rugeley for homes across Staffordshire. Dining tables, cabinets and freestanding storage, designed around your brief.
Our Staffordshire workshop is in Rugeley, and we serve customers in Rugeley, Cannock, Lichfield and elsewhere across the county. We discuss each commission directly, from the first measurements to the agreed specification.
Delivery arrangements depend on the address and the piece. Send your postcode and access details with your enquiry so we can confirm what is included. The workshop is private and is not open to visitors.
Furniture shaped
around your
brief.
These are examples of the freestanding furniture we can discuss. Your piece is designed around its purpose, your dimensions and your choice of timber and finish.
Dining tables
Designed to your exact dimensions — whether that's a compact kitchen table or a statement piece for twelve.
Freestanding shelving
Shelving units designed around the books, objects and storage you need. We discuss room dimensions and access before agreeing the design.
Sideboards
Storage-led or statement — sideboards with drawers, doors, shelving, or a combination. Sized to your wall and finished in your choice of hardwood.
Home offices
Desks, shelving units and freestanding workspaces. We design around your equipment, storage needs and available room.
Why choose a
local maker
in Staffordshire?
-
Delivery discussed with your quote. Tell us your postcode and access requirements so we can confirm the arrangements for your piece.
-
Personal advice. Discuss your brief and timber preferences with us by email. Our workshop is private and is not open to visitors.
-
Supporting local craft. Kingsley Woodwork is a small, independent workshop. When you commission from us, you're supporting a local business in Staffordshire — not a factory overseas.
-
Measurements agreed before making. Share room measurements and photographs with your enquiry. We will discuss any further information needed before finalising the design.

Furniture delivery across Staffordshire
This page covers our county-wide service. The Rugeley, Cannock and Lichfield pages explain how to prepare a local enquiry, while our delivery page sets out the wider arrangements. An address in Staffordshire does not automatically mean every delivery has the same requirements.
Include the delivery postcode, room location and any access restrictions in your brief. We confirm delivery and lead time with the quote, and can also discuss commissions for addresses elsewhere in the UK.
Explore our previous furniture commissions, wood and finish options and delivery guidance. Lead time is confirmed when we quote.
