The bench top is solid oak or ash — thick enough to sit on comfortably, finished in hardwax oil so it handles the daily wear of a hallway.

A slatted or open lower shelf for shoes — ventilated, easy to clean, and more practical than a closed cupboard for everyday use.
Painted frame in any colour
The frame is spray-finished in your chosen Farrow & Ball shade. Send us the paint code and we'll match it exactly.
Built to take daily use
Mortise and tenon joinery throughout — not screws and dowels. Built to be stood on, sat on, and used hard for years.
